Nigel & Cheryl's Big Day!

When I was asked to do a dessert table & wedding cake for Nigel & Cheryl... I was like, yes please! I have seen them together since school days and almost like 10 years after school and to the day they are saying "Yes" together...

But actually having to agreed to do their wedding cake and dessert table spread was rather kind of hectic and rush for me... I have booked my trip much earlier before I agree to do it. When I back, I am left with only 4 days to do everything from scratch.... designing, drafting, crafting, baking & decorating... gosh, all these in 4 days???

Doing a checklist - I have like thousand and one things to do...

A 4 tier wedding cake
Cupcakes
Cake pops
Macarons
Sugar dough
Carrot Cake
Brownie
Cookies


I am thinking "All these in 4 days???" "To cater for 250 pax".....Me alone??? No way???

But yes, I can do it with less than 48 hours of sleep in total of 4 days.... Less than 48 hours of sleep??? Holly cow!!!!

Remember I said before, I will make it a point to pen down my very first in everythink I do for cakes...

I am pretty how this dessert turned out. This set up was a outdoor event and grateful that all cakes stay intact... (as in no melting of cream).. Thank God!

I am pretty happy when the birthday girl and her mum came to me personally and thank me for arranging this sweet dessert table for her daughter... it does put a smile on my face thou...

A surprise order for Hong Kong Superstar Donnie Yen 甄子丹

This happened for a reason... Hong Kong Superstar Donnie is celebrating his birthday in Singapore. He was here partly because of his new movie gala. As such, my ex-colleagues asked if I am interested tto sponsor birthday cupcakes for him. Well.... why not?

Many of you if you have been following Jacqueline, you would have notice her top of the world flower - Open Peony. I have always wanted to try one, but is always so difficult without any guildance. Nevertheless, I tell myself, I must try to figure how. Today, I have a chance to try on for my sis's birthday. Staring at her hundred pictures of different angle of peony, finally I sort of figure it out... (given the slight talent I have in flowers!!! lolz) What's your take on my peony comparing to Jacqueline? lolz... not bad right? Yes, and guess what, I managed to get a few seconds of her attention by commenting on my page on this flower. Oooooh... I am so overwhelmed!!! And so I am going to share it here... :)
